Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
This individual will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the EMS subsystem within DCS and operations in support of software maintenance activities during LCS operations.
Knowledge of HP OpenView products in both Windows and Linux environments is required, as is integration of HPOV monitoring solutions with custom application code.
The qualified candidate must be a selfâˆ’starter, have the ability to troubleshoot complex problems and understand â€œthe big pictureâ€, assist in documenting new and updated processes, plan effectively to complete tasks, work in a team environment, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. This position may require some on call support and overtime as well
Object oriented Java and C++

US Citizenship is required as you must currently hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Minimum 6 yearsâ€™ experience in development, implementation and support of monitoring and reporting solutions within an EMS suite
Specific experience with HP Open View (HPOV) product suite (NNM, OVPM, OML, OMi)
Hands on experience with:
HPOV Policy Development
HPOV Installation and Configuration
Linux command line administration
Scripting (Bash and Perl)
Minimum 4âˆ’6 yearsâ€™ experience working with MÆ’S Windows OS based development
Software and systemâˆ’level debugging experience including the ability to identify problems in established code and make modifications as necessary
Experience with SW execution throughout the entire software life cycle (preliminary design through maintenance phases)
Work related experience with WebLogic Application Server
Work related experience with code analysis tools such as Purify and Klocwork
Completed Raytheon 6âˆ’sigma certification
Experience with application development involving RDBMS (such as Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
Experience with UML design modeling in modeling tools such as Rational Rose, RSA, or Rhapsody
Experience with Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest
Experience and knowledge related to Satellite Ground Systems, Ground System Operations and Satellite Operations
Experience and knowledge related to software discipline process development and deployment
Experience with customer interaction and enduser engagement
Experience integrating software (modules, components, subsystems)
Experience preparing and presenting status information and technical material
Familiarity working with other engineering disciplines (systems, hardware, test, configuration management, and quality engineering)
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor of Science, BS in a Math, Science or Engineering related field and 6 years of relevant work experience.
